Our School

Our Schule

LangIsland School isn’t just a place to learn German – it’s a place to settle in, feel at home, and grow.

Our classrooms are named after German cities like Berlin, Munich, Cologne, and Frankfurt – and for good reason: In each room, you’ll find lovingly designed posters and information about the respective city. They tell you about culture, traditions, food and drink habits, and give you an insight into local life. They’re complemented by practical information about local universities – ideal for anyone planning to study in Germany.

Our small library invites you to browse, play, and delve deeper into your studies, while our cozy coffee corner, with hot drinks (available for a fee), provides the energy you need.

Thanks to our modern equipment, you can study both on-site and online – with our flexible hybrid teaching format. Whether you’re studying for work, everyday life, or an exam – we’ll meet you where you are.

And because language also develops through encounters and small gifts, our students enjoy exclusive special rates with our partner, the Asian supermarket Tain’s.

LangIsland School stands for structured learning with creative inspiration – personal, professional, and with attention to detail.

“We are a multicultural school.”

These key values are important to us and we expect them from our students as well:

Courtesy

Appreciate the value of fellow human beings.

Respect

Listen attentively and be heard.

Tolerance

Don’t judge, but accept without prejudice.

Thoughtfulness

Understanding others and being understood.
